Since school, I've been...
I attended the University of Georgia and graduated with my B. A., M. Ed., and Ed. S. degrees. I was media specialist at Tunnel Hill Elementary School for 26 years, and became National Board Certification in 2003. I retired in June 2007 and now work at East Lake Elementary, an inner city school in Chattanooga. |
My family:
I have 2 sons; one is a student at the University of Georgia and one is a student at UTC. |
Life experiences:
Having my children and traveling are the things I have enjoyed most. I took my boys on 2 missions trips to Connecticut and Canada, and then to Maine and Canada, and those trips were very memorable. I traveled to Scotland in February and it was a trip of a lifetime. |

My favorite things in school were talking with friends and playing in the band. |
My favorite things now:
Reading, being with friends and family are things I enjoy most. |
My favorite books, movies and music:
My favorite book is The Emperor of Ocean Avenue by Stephen L. Carter. I also enjoy books by Pat Conroy and Michael Connelly. I enjoy lots of music, from Fernando Ortega to John Mayer. My favorite movies are those which make me laugh--Dumb and Dumber, and O Brother, Where Art Thou are favorites. I also really enjoyed The Illusionist. |
